Company Policy

As a team of professionals in the field of planning and production of TV programs, PR films and commercials, Gonshiro Garp has been involved in many creative works since it was established in 1995.
We also provide consulting services for strategic development of various images for events and promotions, while making efficient and cost-effective proposals that are tailored to our clients’ needs.

The company derives its name Gonshiro Garp from a legendary cook and fisherman in Kyoto named Gonshiro, whose policy was to serve only the finest food. Garp is taken from the main character of “The World According to Garp” written by the popular writer, John Irving. The novel is about a man who could only live a life with honesty. The two names combined express our philosophy.
We often hear the phrase, “being committed to people,” but our company goes a step further because we are committed to people’s enjoyment.

Images appear in various scenes in our lives, on television and in films, as well as games, mobile phones and the Internet. We are surrounded by an abundance of information, and it is becoming more difficult to make sophisticated choices.

This makes it all the more important for us to focus on how our work can be enjoyed by the viewers, how it can stimulate, be shared with and sympathize with them.

Giving careful thought to what we create. The viewers need only to enjoy it.
That is what we believe in and carry out.
